Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre is Britain's only purpose-built all-weather facility for cross-country skiing, providing tuition at all levels from novice to elite. The facility is run by Aberdeenshire Council and was upgraded with grants from the Big Lottery in 2004.

Picture of youngsters biking on the roadway Huntly Nordic & Outdoor Centre is a wooden lodge in a delightful setting, with 400m of all-weather classic mat, 30m x 6m downhill matting and 800m of tarmac rollerski track. We use high level forest trails in the Clashindarroch Forest, 13 miles from the centre, when we have snow (see conditions on right).
When there is good snow cover, skis are available to hire by the day. When we have no snow you can try skiing on our all weather tracks, tubing on our downhill mat, or hire a bike for the day to explore the local roads and forests. The inside of the centre
